THREE LIONS AND NINE HEARTS
2012 MARSELISBORG PALACE PARK, AARHUS, DENMARK
Three Lions and Nine Hearts is a major sculptural installation for Marselisborg Palace park in Aarhus. The work was bestowed on Queen Margrethe II by Aarhus Municipality and other sponsors as she had indicated that she wanted the work as a gift on her 70th birthday
The installation consists of:

LITHOGRAPHS
The exhibitions shows the working process from the initial sketches on paper and in clay to the impressive 1:1 models. The exhibition also contains a video following the artist in the long working process. The 26 lithographic sketches of the work and printed at The Print Workshop in Hjørring and donated to the Vrå art gallery by the New Carlsberg Foundation, will also be on display, together with a book with a granite cover containing the original lithographies that were also presented to the Queen.
